Browsing and sign-in
You can browse hospital records without signing in. Search terms and filters appear in page URLs and are sent to the website to return results. Avoid entering personal or medical information in search. Hosting and sign-in providers may process connection information, including IP addresses and request logs, to deliver and secure the service.
Sign-in uses ChatGPT. The application receives an account identifier and, when supplied by the hosting service, an email address. These support account access and owner permissions. The provider manages its own sign-in session; see OpenAI’s privacy policy.
Information stored by the directory
- Saved hospital IDs, your account identifier and saved dates, to maintain your shortlist.
- Correction and contact messages, category, account identifier, submission date and review outcome. An optional reply email is stored with your contact message.
- Official hospital evidence, import history and administrative audit records, to maintain the directory.
Contact messages and account shortlists are not published. The publisher can review submitted requests. Hosting and database providers process stored information to operate the service. We do not sell contact messages or use them for advertising.
Cookies and browser storage
The directory stores your language choice in browser local storage under careatlas-language. You can clear it through browser settings. Authentication may use provider-managed session cookies. We have not installed advertising cookies, AdSense scripts or analytics trackers in this website’s application.
Advertising, if introduced
No ads are currently served by this application. Before introducing Google advertising, we will update this notice with the actual providers and consent controls. Google and other advertising vendors may use cookies to serve ads based on previous visits to this and other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on those visits. You can manage Google personalized advertising at My Ad Center; other participating vendors offer choices at aboutads.info. These links do not indicate that advertising is currently enabled here.
Retention and your choices
You can remove saved hospitals from your shortlist. Messages and audit records currently have no automatic expiry and remain stored until removed by the publisher. Use Contact from the same signed-in account to request access, correction or deletion of information you submitted. Requests are reviewed by the publisher; this is not an automatic deletion service. Browser storage can be cleared independently. Hosting-provider logs and account data follow that provider’s policies.
Protect sensitive information
Do not submit Aadhaar numbers, PM-JAY card numbers, patient records, diagnoses, medical reports or payment details. This service does not need them. External official-source and directions links take you to other services with their own privacy practices.
