Official evidence comes first
We use source lists from government health authorities and link records to the underlying evidence. Hospital identity, ownership, specialty, accreditation, location and empanelment are separate fields. A hospital’s name is not proof of a specialty or treatment package.
Dates have different meanings
The source date is the date supplied by the issuing authority. An import date is when we added that evidence. A current-status verification date is shown only when recorded. Importing an old list does not make its contents current. Undated sources are identified as such.
Location limitations
State codes follow LGD. District names follow hospital source lists. City or locality labels may come from explicit source text and are not presented as verified LGD or Census mappings. Unknown values remain unresolved.
Changes and corrections
Use “Report a data issue” on a hospital page, or contact the publisher with a page URL and official evidence. Reports enter a private review queue. A submission does not immediately change a hospital’s status. Accepted updates retain an evidence trail; ambiguous identity matches and conflicting information require review.
Missing rows or inaccessible sources do not prove delisting. Explicit suspension, de-empanelment or blacklisting evidence excludes a hospital from default discovery while preserving its history. Current eligibility and treatment packages must still be confirmed with the hospital.
Standalone page quality
Records with only sparse information remain searchable but are excluded from the sitemap and advertisements. Our live data-quality report explains the admission rule and counts missing contact and source-date fields. Treatment pages require accepted hospital-specific package evidence before they are promoted through the sitemap.
Editorial independence
Payment does not establish empanelment or evidence quality. Google advertising, must be separate from directory results and cannot be used to buy a verified status. Our advertising policy explains this separation.
How we add useful context
Our location analysis calculates contact, address and source-date completeness from the records serving that page. These are data-completeness measures, not clinical ratings or proof of current empanelment. Institution visit references are researched separately, matched to a specific record and linked to their official contact pages. They preserve the original imported fields.
Publisher and use of automation
Arsh Kapoor publishes this directory. AI assistance and software are used to prepare code, data checks and explanatory content. We do not present AI-written guidance as a medical assessment or invent a clinician reviewer. An individual source review means the referenced page was inspected; it does not mean a telephone call, hospital visit or current scheme authorization was verified. We record that distinction and retain source dates.

Standalone record review
From 22 October 2026, an address and contact alone no longer admit an imported hospital profile to the sitemap. We require individually researched branch references with linked institution sources, contact-purpose labels and a branch-specific explanation. Other source records remain searchable, comparable and downloadable but use noindex and carry no advertising. Location lists need useful comparison data and are screened separately.
