How to Check Whether a Hospital Accepts the Ayushman Card

Find the official hospital record

Start with the National Health Authority’s HEM hospital search. A Ministry of Health and Family Welfare release dated 3 February 2026 directs readers there for the detailed private hospital list. Search by hospital name and location, then compare the address and source-supplied facility identifier. Similar names can refer to different facilities.

Read the status and dates separately

In this directory, “listed in source” records an appearance in an official list. “Empanelled in source” reflects explicit source status. De-empanelled, suspended and blacklisted records are excluded from the default hospital search, while their evidence can remain available on a profile.

A source date describes the list; an import date describes when we saved it. Neither is a live confirmation of treatment availability. An undated table must remain labelled undated.

Call the correct desk before travelling

• Confirm the branch name, address and facility ID.
• Ask whether the branch currently accepts eligible PM-JAY patients for your proposed treatment.
• Ask which contact handles eligibility, authorization and appointments.
• Confirm required documents and availability before arranging admission.

An official-list number may belong to a nodal or administrative officer. Missing or unanswered contact details do not establish that a hospital has left the scheme.

Use a downloaded list as a dated reference

A PDF downloaded from this directory reflects the selected filters and stored evidence at export time. Open the hospital’s source link and recheck before visiting. A name appearing in an old PDF is not a guarantee of current acceptance.
