How to Read Hospital Reviews When Choosing Ayushman Care

Check which hospital and branch the review describes

Match the name, address and locality to the hospital profile. Look for the visit date and whether the reviewer describes their own experience. A review of another branch, an employment experience or a similarly named facility may not answer your question.

Look for details relevant to your visit

Useful details include how the Ayushman desk explained the process, whether contact information worked, appointment communication, accessibility and how the reviewer’s questions were handled. Separate these observations from claims about clinical outcomes. A single review is one account, not a reliable measure of the hospital’s overall quality.

Compare recent experiences, then confirm directly

Read several recent accounts rather than relying on an average star rating alone. If reviews disagree about scheme acceptance, use the official source and ask the branch’s Ayushman desk. A positive review is not evidence of current empanelment; a negative review is not evidence of de-empanelment.

Protect privacy when sharing an experience

Describe communication and practical aspects of your own visit. Avoid posting patient names, medical reports, Aadhaar or Ayushman card numbers, phone numbers and identifying details about other patients. Describe what happened clearly, distinguish opinion from fact and include the date when relevant.
